Saw an ad yesterday for a club that used to be 'the basement'. After match party with Manc tunes. All Blues welcome.

Me and the lads tried to get in about half a dozen places in town and people were either on the doors saying they were full or the Police were there telling the bar staff to stop serving or had already closed the pub/bar.
We aimlessly walked around for a bit then we came out at Piccadilly Gardens and saw Kro was rammed and next door Pizza Express was half empty, so we went in Pizza Express and had a few drinks we were that desperate! Then we were told we had to order some food or they'd ask us to leave because we were being too loud. So we just came back down to our local and later on ended up getting a lock-in.
Was a crap celebratory night out!
Sundays and football are shit all throughout the season as it is, the Police made it worse and it was supposed to be a celebration. People moan about the media's agenda, but the worst group for having an agenda against us is the GMP. They treat the Rags totally differently to how they treat us. I bet over the 13 Prems those cunts have won the Police weren't acting in the same way as they did with us two years ago!

Hopefully the Coppers will have a more relaxed attitude on Sunday night as the Rags aren't involved this time.

As people have said a lot last time was due to a lot of disgruntled reds knocking round town so would expect no issues with pubs closing tommorow, if this article is anything to go off we should be welcomed

That night in the basement club in 2012, was absolutely awesome!
Cheap bar with great music on downstairs and upstairs there was a bunch of us singing city songs all night long whilst dancing about until about 3am.

2012 I had a few in city square then tried to meet some mates in kro but the poice werent letting anyone in round there, ended up in monroes! Was doing a part time degree at the time and had a final year exam so I got off after that. If we win, my plan is to go city square again or a pub by the ground and soak it up. Will head to town after that and take it from there. Hoping to hit the bars and clubs at night but expect my mates will be too drunk to get in and the bouncers will be knocking back any groups of lads who look like they've been on it all day, so will probs end up at that end of season party thing

Spot on mate, even in years gone by when we had nothing to celebrate, just going for an end
of season drink they were on out case.
The thing is now there are hundreds of Bar's in the City Center so they can't shut them all.
But they like to split us up if they can.

Wasn't just town in 2012. i was in Sale and went in to the Bridge where it was kicking off and the police closed it down, went over to the Temple inn and it really badly kicked off and the police came and closed it down. Ended up in the Sale Hotel and by that stage i think the pissed up Rags had gone home so we enjoyed the rest of the night.
