Pubs after Match on Sunday

It might be helpful if people post in here on Sunday evening to notify where they have got into and if they allow colours.
Then we can make informed decisions instead of aimlessly walking round town...

Will be in the Waggon in Gorton. Will be swinging in there if anyone fancies a 15 minute bus journey from Piccadilly Gardens. Has 5 screens and beer for £2.20
I will probabley end up in the Wag. as well. I used to go in about 4 or 5 times a week until the little ugly rag took it over and spoilt the beer. He used only come down stairs to collect his takeaway, can`t remember his name but his son always wore a rag shirt. Antway after about 20 years of regular drinking in there i gave up with that fucker. Went in one night and evertbody was on cans of bitter!! Turned round and haven`t been back since. I presume he`s fucked off now.
There was a woman running it wen I started going in in 2010 but now there's a family running it. Not sure they are into football but it's mainly a blue pub and everyone drinks pints (Holt's black is nice)

Let me know if you go in
Sounds like the rags have left. If town starts shutting early then it`s back to Gorton for me. And yes Holts anything is nice when the landlord looks after it. Enjoy the day.

Theres a load from clayton/ droylesden go in the gay village especially after the big games, trouble free drinking is not to be scoffed at.

Was a crap celebratory night out!
Funny how people have different experiences because it was one of the best nights out of my life, and I was back at my mums before 11:30, had a brilliant night.

Won't be drinking after the game tomorrow, as I have to get back south tomorrow night, as I have work near Watford at 6:45am, but I'll still head into town and find a pub for an hour or two if we've won it, If not, I'll be miserable as f**k, and home for about 8:30pm.

As many of you know we're doing a huge end of season party in town on Sunday evening
We've decided it best to keep it off social media in the end so if you're interested in coming down considering the magnitude of the last one we did , inbox me and I'll inbox the flyer and details
GET INVOLVED BLUES and pls share this status or send out the flyer to your mates
Let's make this one go down in city folklore just like the last one…

HI mate is this in that club near Wing Yip again ? Or is different ?

That's the one in Ancotes, the small shady looking club we were in last time?

After the QPR game I met up with my mates and we ambled into town and walked into The Grey Horse. Heaving but great fun winding up a pissed up Irish guy who kept calling us racist as he said he was a rag and didn't like us asking him why he didn't support an Irish team.
That's not very nice.

How fucking rude not to invite me along, taking the piss out of the oirish is my favourite hobby!!!!!!

I can't believe the Police were shutting everywhere. Pubs and Bars could've made a fortune and it keeps everyone contained and not on the streets. Wankers.

I remember this happening when we got relegated in 96 and promoted in 2002.

Really? If I recall correctly, 2002's promotion was secured without the kicking of a ball as another team dropped points to hand it to us. I know the next home match was party time because we were already there and could just enjoy the day. I'd still argue that fans with a beer in their hand and in the pub are occupied instead of traipsing around the streets.

I seem to remember a couple of celebratory games. One where we were promoted and one where we won the league, but it might have been slightly different. I remember being in town on a nice afternoon and the only place serving was cafe rouge, and then the police turned up when the singing started outside. I also remember a night match where we celebrated in Didsbury. Someone climbed up all the walls and put city flags on all the flagpoles.

But this might be a mixed up version of what happened. What I remember without a doubt was town being basically closed.
