standupefc said:I'd recommend Thomas Frosts Wetherspoons on county road it's the same distance to Anfield as it is to Goodsion. The pints are cheap , they have a good selection of drinks and meals and you take kids in there. All the pubs round Anfield will be packed for a big game like this and the Arkles will be certainly full of City fans. If you want to be able to sit down have a pint and not have to worry about any trouble Thomas Frost is the best place to go. When Liverpool do reasonably well in the cup the pubs round Liverpool tend to be pretty full of Liverpool supporters some won't allow away supporters. Alternatively if your getting the train to Lime Street leave through the front entrance turn left down that road and there's loads of Irish pubs catering for the large Irish Catholic population. Alternatively cross the road from Lime Street going towards St Johns and take your first right then take a left and theres a large Wetherspoons with a huge taxi rank outside. This is on Great Charlotte Street.
