pubs around wembley showing game

no chance of getting a ticket but will be down london on work that day.Are there any pubs/bars around wembley that show the game or do they close during the match.

I didn't have ticket for final in 2011, me and mate asked round all the pubs, asking police and bouncers. Were told Wetherspoons on High Street would stay open, by police, asked bouncers they said yea, went in asked bar staff they said yea, we bought 4 pints to last and save having to queue during game. About 15 mins before kickoff they announced they were closing I asked manager he assured me they were only tidying up, he would look after our beer and we would be back in before kick off.

Still not in at 2 minutes to 3 I asked a copper who said they had been told to close all the pubs and he wasn't happy, there was no trouble and it meant all City fans hanging round streets rather than in boozers. About 30 of us jumped in tube to next stop and just went into first boozer we found.

Bloke was great let the kids put flags and scarfs up on walls etc and we had great day.

we were in the same boat, but a kebab shop came to the rescue on the high street... 2 mins to kick off 2 of us in there pissed off we couldnt get in. 1 min before kick off about 50 blues doing the poznan, was mental in there.... Made up a little for not getting in.

However, might be safer going to Harrow area or near your hotel

My mate went in Ibis for Stoke and that showed the game,suppose depends if any dicks on either side cause any trouble

We are a 5-7 walk from Ruislip tube station which is 20 minutes from Wembley Park on the Metroplitan Line
