the guys a knob but in all fairness he didnt park the bus they did have some posetion in the final 3rd and due to that it was just a matter of time untill we scored

Errr.... they totally parked the bus until we scored and only had some possession in the final third once we were 3-0 up

Their 'keeper was taking the piss with his timewasting. Every goal kick, he would take the kick out from the other side of the goal to where the ball went out. And yet there was only 1 minute added at theme of the first half. And that after the ref had spoken to him.

You can still be 4-5-1 and throw men forward .. and as I remember it that's what they did : it's how you use the 5

They didn't park the bus like Reading did. They ventured forwards but with almost zero effect but that helped us quite a lot as we didn't have to break down a massed defence

They'd have been better off just hoofing everything out of defence and keeping 11 behind the ball

Not sure Stoke would be better off with Pulis as he has assembled a team of giants who can't play football

He's got some good forwards though in Owen, Jones, Jerome, Walters and Crouch. Keeper is good too as is Shawcross. Midfield can't play though.

Get real.If you are 3 nil down or even 2 nil and have any real intent on getting a goal the first thought of the team is not to retreat to a line of 5 in front of the back 4. You commit people into attacking positions and actually give it a go.

A 4.5.1 doesn't automatically mean a totally defensive outlook but it did today for Stoke.Absolutely appalling and gutless effort.

I take what he said in a light hearted manner , a bit tongue in cheekreally .... i've heard him say a lot worse , let's put it that way !

They appear to have been on a bit of a run lately and even managed to put three in Liverpools net the other day , but they never really threatened to dominate todays game , and , in truth, we bossed it from the start.

Aside from a close range Walters effort that cleared the bar , and a long range shot that Hart brilliantly deflected onto the post , Stoke were not really in the game ........ but Pulis indicated that they'd been below par , and they got what they deserved really ... nowt !
