I'm talking about Man City specifically. He didn't peddle the money excuse at Chelsea, Spurs, OT because (in parts) we played well. What I object to is going into a game almost resigned to losing it (see his 'bonus game' quote before we had even kicked a ball) and then blame the fact that their squad cost more as the reason for us losing. We may well have played well and still lost, but I don't agree that £220m was the difference yesterday - our approach was.

Hi Guys

Having read the last nine pages with a smile I take it that you don't like TP, The Brit, even Hanley (I have to agree with the latter) nor us "web footed inbred Stokies". But hey ho that's life.

I thoroughly enjoyed Wembley and had spent a good lunchtime with some of your guys.

You don't have to take to heart to many of the comments on the Oatcake, we have similar as you on here.

Ask the vast majority of Stokies who they want to take the title, one answer.....it's you boys

Anyhow have a good second half to the season and hope to meet you again in 2013/2014 of course if not at Wembley...now there's hoping.

Have always liked Stoke fans - and Wembley only endeared them more to me. Decent fans who love and are as proud of their club as we are of ours. They aren't glory hunters and are realistic about their status.

Makes me laugh when he goes on about money. They have the third highest nett spend (£75m) over the last 5 years, behind us & Chelsea. That's over £70m more than Spurs and £120m more than Arsenal.

They really should be doing a lot better than they are; they haven't progressed at all. Last season they finished on 45 points, which is the same as their first season back in the PL. In between they've had 46 & 47 points. Pulis simply can't take them any further. If you talk to Stoke fans they recognise this but are happy to stick with what they've got rather than take the risk of doing worse under a different manager.

Great point, and I know this is not the topic but teams like Stoke that are happy just to sit in the prem with no ambition are also supporters of the FA's so called Financial Fair Play.
