It's hardly as if they spent the whole game hitting it up the pitch. Most of their passes found their target. An awful lot of ours were under hit and stopped before they got to where they were supposed to go. Fair enough to start with, but after it happens a few times you should surely start to kick it a little bit harder? And it's not like our passing game prevents a player from running to where the ball is if he knows it isn't going to reach him instead of standing there watching whilst the other team run in and take it.
