The clothes and hair Bondage pants studded Biker Jackets belts wristbands bumflaps furry jumpers Docs cherry red or black. Mohicans Spikes Skins etc etc

That scene was a big part of my youth.

1st Pistols at the Electric Circus and I was wearing cords and desert boots. Clash were better and Devotos last concert with Buzzcocks. Historic when you look back on it. When they came back to the same venue a fortnight later as the tour fell into chaos spiky hair and studs out in force. It was a nightmare and kicked off in the queue. Bouncers wouldn't let me in even with a ticket! Loved the EC, just down the road and great bands.

UMIST was good as well, saw the Banshees their
