A band that flew under the radar in the great scheme of things here in the UK. But they were way ahead of their time in many ways. A few years ago Dave Grohl actually apologised to guitarist/singer Bob Mould, for how much Nirvana ''borrowed'' from them.
Bob Mould is known as their main lead singer, but I find my favourite songs of theirs are the ones written and sung by drummer Grant Hart ... like this beaut.
NB, always amused me that bassist Greg Norton, while sporting the at the time stereotypical gay look moustashe, was actually the only one in the band that was straight. :-)

but yes i agree completely.
for me it all came together with warehouse stories.
it was a little lengthy but it seemed to allow each of the band members to take centre stage at different times, a collective effort.
hart's solo stuff didn't appeal to me but mould has since released some great stuff.

As good ad Warehouse was, Candy Apple Gray remained my favourite. And 'Hart' error amended, cheers!
