To be honest i had never heard of Doctor of Madness nor Kid Strange until reading this thread.
I googled the band and Richard Strange is from London and also done lots of acting. and makes no reference to Estonia or Pete Shelley.
Then googling Shelley it says he moved to Estonia with his Estonian wife Greta so just put 2 and 2 together and assumed they are not the same person

Apparently Greta grew up in Canada.
That's all I know. never heard of this Strange kid and it seems like Pete's private life was pretty private.

I saw Blitz on the 'attacked by rats' tour in the early 80s at Cardiff Top Rank. The singer Carl Fisher got a leathering on stage from a pal of mine. He and the band were giving it the hard man act. They were crap that night but I still have the album and a couple of singles that still stand up even now.
