Besides he seems to me to have the strength of character to finally confront and defeat the notion among players that you can go to and stay at City, be well paid, live off the odd glory result and coast all safe in the knowledge that no-one really expects you to achieve anything of substance so you don't have to worry too much about it. The notion that has crippled our club for more years than I care to remember.
As someone else said above, it's going to be painful along the way, but if the club keeps its collective nerve, faces down the disruptive elements (players, media, fans), I reckon we have a chance of reaching the promised land. Hallelujah boys and girls. Keep the faith. CTID.
