Qatar sheiks, our sheik, malaga etc...

There were stories that the Qataris (or someone else) had paid off the PIK notes in return for a stake in the club in preparation for buying it but this has (predictably) proved to be bullshit.

The Glazers did issue some new shares at that time, as a poster pointed out, but it turns out there were only 2 ordinary shares issued. If you were taking a stake, you'd want more than 2 shares.

The rags first team coach Rennie Mulestine has strong links with the Qatar royals due to his work with there national side where he spent 6 years, it does not mean it could happen but the rags have been trying to generate some interest in the club via this, if it would be possible is another thing, but there is a definate link, the other thing is the 2022 world cup if you wanted to promote your country for such an event why not purchase "the worlds so called biggest club"
And they are rich very rich in much the same way as our Shiek Mansour

Arabs buy City:

"Man City...dirty, filthy, nasty camel-jockey money...ruining football...meat pies...hot pot...tradition...all gone".

Arabs buy rags:

*Media huddle to re-set narrative*

"Man United...sound, forward, progressive, cosmopolitan Arab nobility...benefactors...meat pies...chips and gravy...tradition...secured".

You've missed the point. United fans like me would only want us to be bought to secure our financial future, I couldn't be fucked with throwing more money around than we do already.

Indeed from what I understand the Glazers have sold something in America to pay of the PIK, not to sure what, but in the process they've put another strain on United via another debt loan, at least that's what the sheep were saying on ragcafe.

No, you've missed the point of my post, which is what you quoted. Against whom was my post directed? I think you've unintentionally revealed something.

Malaga just signed Baptista from AS Roma and Demichelis from Bayern Munich, not bad.

Syeikh who buys Malaga is al Thani clan.

First time I've ever heard Demichelis and 'not bad' in the same sentance ;p

Camacho could turn out to be a bargain buy though. Asenjo on loan as well! With regular football those two could really show Atleti what they're missing, Asenjo's become a forgotten man with the emergance of De Gea.

Fair enough. I didn't say anything about United fans. It's the media. Assume you do get bought, and I am assuming you really do know the not-so-subtle hostility displayed since we were bought, just see if your Arabs aren't spoken of slightly differently...and when you realize that they are, then maybe you'll ask questions about other things...such as the financial alliance between Sky, the media, the PL, the FA and match officials...

*cough*
