?? In US Fox are saying because goal keeper is ahead of ball, there needs to be TWO players between attacking player and goal to avoid offside ?? ..... WTF ??? I Have never, ever, heard that ???

That's correct, there has to be 2 players. But it would have been the goal scorer who was off side during that phase and he was not interfering with play. When it came back across, he was well onside when he scored.
