I know the rule about 2 players behind the keeper, but that goal seems to be ruled offside when the player who heads the ball actually headed it, the var thing was showing his foot was offside not for valencia being behind the keeper, if so they look like they've given it offside when it actually hits his head not when the free kick is taken

It matters if the goalkeeper or defender touched it last, as that counts as a deliberate play on the ball, resetting play and making the Ecuadorian player onside.
