So after the first 45 minutes of the world cup the most important question raised is....

Will there be a worse pundit than Dion Dublin at this tournament?

Isn’t he awful. With that header at the end of the half he actually said “He didn’t need power or direction, he just needed to get it on target” And none of the commentators or pundits mentioned that he was about 5 yards offside! So it wouldn’t have counted anyway

Offside or not (hard to tell) there was nothing on the screen to justify disallowing that goal.
Ecuador, as most predicted, far too good for Qatar.
Valencia has been around top class teams for many years and was far too canny for the defenders. Hope he is ok.
