We don’t need to score four to advance, two will be fine, we need to score 4 to be comfortable, or is that what you meant?
Against Liv last year in CL it was 5-2 cumulative when we went aggressive to score. If we go up 2-0 we will be a last second goal by them to be eliminated so expect Pep to continue pushing for third and giving them opportunities to score.

cant wait for Wed to come along,,it will be buzzing,,be nice to have back to back wins after Wed,that should pump us all up..a lot of downhearted folk on here at the moment but hey we are fav to go through so lets get the place rocking on Wed

if we can get the early goal and level the tie in the first 20 minutes then i'm quite sure spurs will collapse, Kane will be missing so i assume their game plan will be to shut the shop and smash and grab if they can which is all we ever deal with at home

He elbowed him in the back of the head when they were both on the floor following a tackle
Yes, i saw it, didnt look good, but is there a chance of a ban? Wouldn't VAR have caught this and as it didn't is it review-able? Typical for us to get done whilst Salad get away with his.

Did he fuck express fear. If he truly feared Spurs, he would have started every premium starter he had.

The fact he didn't, gives a real insight into his reasoning.

He hedged his bets, knowing we are more than capable of getting the right outcome after two games, with a home tie to favour.

If anything, his team selection actually showed a degree of well-placed trust for what we can produce and what Spurs can't, even in a lower gear.

It's an absolute fucking disgrace that you and others don't wish to give our manager the benefit of doubt.

What part of last season or this season have people not seen from the best manager in the world?

He's earned it and plenty should know better after all this time.
Some just dont see it, sadly

Dont get me going on VAR - what a joke it was last night.

Not a pen for me but VAR intervened and made the ref look at it, so why didn't it intervene again when it was taken for clear encroachment and the offending player being first to the ball after it came of Lloris - as I say, its a joke

I agree. Its implementation is sporadic at best when its meant to be consistent. its a joke. Might be better to just leave to offside decisions on goals.

Only his arm but that doesn't count.
Shoulder does though and he was about two inches offside. VAR should have picked this up. If they can spend three minutes making a subjective call about a penalty for Schalke then they can get a factual decision correct. He was by the letter of the law offside but the line they used was thicker than usual and somewhat blury. I would also like to see the frame where the ball appeared to have crossed the line before he brought it back in. It looked like they weren't using the right one but hey ho
