He later played for Manchester City, a team which then fell into what was then Division Two. Pollock scored an own goal that condemned Manchester City to relegation to the third tier for the first time, whilst keeping Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in the division.
As a result, a group of QPR fans thanked him by voting him the "most influential man of the past 2,000 years" in an internet poll, where "Jesus came second, apparently."[1]
He is currently the manager of non-League club Spennymoor Town, after his previous club Spennymoor United went bust in 2005. He also coaches a Nunthorpe Junior team that plays in the Teesside Junior Alliance - North Riding League.
As well as being a football manager, he is co-owner of a Glass and Glazing company based in Middlesbrough near the Transporter Bridge called Polton Glass.

What often gets forgotten is that we conceded another totally laughable goal in that same game. That's right - 2 absolutely monumental fuck ups in the same must-win game, the end result being that the 2-2 draw guaranteed QPR's safety while leaving us relying on other results (that eventually didn't go our way) going into the last game at Stoke. Only City could be guilty of such crass carelessness.

correct i seem to remember martyn margotson giving the ball to one of their players at a free kick before he was in position,qpr took it quickly and straight into an empty net ,what a muppet he was.

The one thing I don't understand is why they are putting a Bayern Munich logo on it. Is it because they beat us earlier in the season?
If we put the logo of every team to beat QPR this season on the back of a T-shirt, it would need a train like a gypsy's wedding dress

Probabaly to do with them playing Chelsea in the Champs League.

Ah right. I thought Chelsea considered Fulham and Spurs to be their derbies but QPR isn't that far either so it makes a bit more sense now
