INJURIES: Pellegrini confirms Vincent Kompany is injured, joining David Silva and Aleks Kolarov out on the sidelines. Lampard available

So kind of our manager to let the opposition know, don't you think?

It's a very different team selection for Redknapp when he knows Komps is out.

He doesn't even have to lie, if it makes him so uncomfortable, try a little 50/50.

Unbelievable. Getting sick of that degree of openness about our team.

I don't think it'll change Twitchers outlook on the game much to be honest, Austin's always going to be a handful if Vinny plays or not.

As for our formation and style of play, even a blind person can see how we'll set up.

Can't agree, mate.

If you already know a City team is without people like Vinny or Silva, it completely alters the mindset.

Because they know we don't have the same standard of player to replace them with and won't be as dominant.

Could be the difference between Rangers playing one man up top or two.

I can't believe some are betting on our loss for our boys.

I hope you lose your money.

Most opponents already know Tolmie what the line up will be and most managers tell the tale on the day before.

If handbreak Harry who I can safely say the vast majority of QPR supporters and others at the club want out with his same old tired set of assistants can out muscle us from the side lines knowing or not knowing VK will be starting we might as well look at why we got Mangala , Nasty , Boyata etc into the club in the first place and put up the white flag that is that genius Harry Redknapp here and now.

Trouble with many of us is we look at every little nook and cranny to justify why it will be easier for vastly inferior opposition to knock us over.

If the players we have available are that stuffed up that we can't cope without DS and VK and whose to say we would do a better job and get a better result if both were available tomorrow anyway then I have a great idea.

Lets put 10 men behind the ball for 89 minutes and catch them on the break Ali v Foreman style in the last minute of the game.

Can we keep them out with ten men behind the ball for 90 minutes ala Fat Sam v Chelsea style?

Of, course, the 4-4-2 gets a great stick when we're not winning but I think against QPR it might not be the worst decision. Harry's teams tend not to press high up the pitch whatsoever. So even with Fernando and Yaya as a midfield two we really just should dominate possession, but of course with Edin or Aguero to drop back. As Jovetic's form was as bas as Dzeko's in the last game, I expect the Bosnian to play from the start. I just hope that he has the desire to fight for his place in the starting eleven. He just can't be that shit for so many games...

EDIT: But now that Vinnie is out, yet playing with just one upfront might prove to be better as Vinnie is a big advantage to have back even for our possession play.

Maybe not as dominate in terms of possession but in terms of clear cut chances on target who knows.

We have put in some shockers this year when both have been playing.

Totally agree with you on this one Tolmie. Mourinho has royally fucked me over on fantasy football by saying Costa is injured etc only to play him. Pellegrini doesn't need to give that information. He is secretive about almost everything else but he shouldn't be revealing such key information. Especially with a player of Kompany's importance in our side. We should still be able to win regardless but it isn't something I feel he should be doing. If I'm honest I hadn't really ever thought of it. He just needs to say - he has a knock but we will see tomorrow if he plays.

So tell me how QPR will set up differently, they don't have great options up front.
