Ignoring the obvious homophobia in that statement......and the others deriding the band.....you are talking utter bollocks. This band, in their early days were up there with rock's greats. They were challenging the very best at the time for their crowns. Zeppelin, Purple, Sabs....all of them. They were classic rock and produced three great albums in that vein.....four maybe.
They then made the decision to go mainstream and 'pop'......and though it lost their hard rock following, it gained them a global audience and was what they wanted (well, two of them apparently) and they took that new audience by the throat and became huge......hate them all you want, but give 'em credit for what they did.....

Eastenders gets 10 million viewers , doesnt mean its any good or in fact better than say spooks which in fact buries it.Mark - TheBlue said:Remember when De Niro said Take that were better than Queen. Must be because Take Thats greatest hits was an instant success, peaking at number one on the UK Album Chart for four weeks. It has spent 476 weeks in the UK Charts, and is the best-selling album of all time in the UK. Oh no wait that's Queens greatest hits.
