Question ref iPhone 5c

My daughters phone has the apple logo appear on her main screen with what looks like programme data appear at the top, it won't switch off or when I plug the charger in nothing appears to say it is charging it just seems to have frozen, any ideas what nay be going on with her phone.

Connect to Itunes and reset to factory settings

Plug into your computer and restart it through iTunes. Or as a last resort you can reset it by holding down both the start button and the on/off button together for about 15 secs.
