I'll be getting the tickets for napoli at home shortly.

....now did platinum/gold have yesterday and also have today to get their seat?

cause some people are saying their seat has been sold.

the cup scheme go first obviously, so it means cause someone is in the cup scheme they can happily choose and take my seat, is that how it works?

on the website after seasoncard holders, the next point of sale is tomorrow. so i don't get it?

The reason your seat might be gone if your not on the cup scheme is if they relocate people who cant sit in their own seat, be that because of UEFA deligates, advertising, camera position and your seat happens to be used. It's luck of the draw your seat may or may not be used for relocations by City. This may also change on a game to game basis. Someone might relocate into your seat in one game but you find they haven't in another.

cheers.

rang up and thanfully my seats were still free.

but seriously it's a piss take that,

if your a seasonticket holder and you have to be moved, then why re-locate into another seasonticket holders seat?

not right at all that.

It's the club that offer those seats to the people relocating. As far as city are concerned any seats of a fan not in the cup scheme is an available seat. This is because they do the relocations before any sales to non cup scheme members.

..because as far as City are concerned, if you're not on the cup scheme you're a second class supporter.

i tried to make the same point last week on here....my ST is on row w of block 111, which i chose because of the atmosphere....i'm not on the cup scheme as i cant guarantee getting to the games and even if i wanted to pick & choose i have no chance of getting my ST seat and would end up sat on the third tier

the club are relocating cup scheme members into other ST holders non-cup scheme seats before the non cup scheme fans get a chance to buy their seat.

-- Thu Sep 01, 2011 8:05 pm --

My SC is in 140 but I bought in 109 for the night.

this also doesnt help...as more than likely you will have taken a ST holders usual seat

Because your season ticket guarentees you you 19 home league premier games and fuck all else.If you wanna sit in your seat then join the cup schemes or take the chance your seat will be offered to relocates on the cup scheme!

I joined the cup scheme for 2 reasons...The points - no brainer...and to guarentee my seat for the cup games (even though I know I may be relocated in the FA CUP/League cup as I sit in SL2 Block 216). If you dont join the cup scheme it clearly stated on the OS that your seat will be offered to those cup scheme members who are forced to relocate first. If they are then still available then you can get your own seat from yesterday the 31st..

To many threads on here slagging the club when they make it perfectly clear. This isn't an I'm alright Jack attitude but I joined the cup scheme to stop any of these issues.. Instead of moaning, make a decision based on what is announced on by the club on the OS.

To be fair though, I'd have thought the best place to inform people about the risk of losing their seat by not being in the cup scheme would have been in the membership booklet that was sent out with the renewal forms. They didn't do that though, if they had done so, perhaps all this moaning and slagging the club could have been avoided.
That said, I admit it's my own fault for not being glued to the OS night and day.

PB - I sympathise mate but it was on there for weeks and weeks when they started the season ticket sales...Where do you sit just out of interest. I have just logged into my account and still plenty of seats next to or around where I sit...

but what about those who can't afford to be in all the cup schemes?

so because someone signed up and got 200 points which they give away stupidly in the first place, that means their entitled to take MY SEAT, a lifelong seasonticket holder and i'm being moved.

this wasn't even mentioned before the season or in the pack, it's a pisstake.

sorry i didn't sign up for the scheme, anyone feel free to have my seat... thanks.

Freestyler-Your season ticket guarentees you 19 home league matches. Not a thing more. What don't you get.It is in black and white..I sympathise for people who perhaps cannot join cup schemes for financial reasons but this is not the clubs point. The club are rightly giving priority to people who join the schemes. It's called an incentive. I don't ee what your gripe is mate.?

EL2 Block 209. It's the principle thats pissing me off more than anything. Season tickets always had a day or so to buy their own seat for cup games you know that. Just because I didn't sign up, they've given my seat to some other poor bugger that's also had to move I now won't be sitting with my regular mates for ANY CL games. It's a shitter and I'm not even sure I'll be buying one at all I'm that pissed off

i understand, my gripe is why because someone who is in a scheme get's my seat, the seat i've been sat in for years every single game?

their no different than me, they just got 200 points.

if you have to re-locate people i don't mind, but relocate them to seats which aren't season ticket holders, why does it have to be a seasonticket holders seat.

that's my problem.

at the end of the day it's my seat, it's a good job when i rang up our seats haden't gone.

simple little things like this the club still can't sort out, who's idea was this?

pathetic.

The principle of what mate? The club are just giving priority to people who joined the scheme. Your season ticket is just for league games. What is it that is pissing you off. There are plenty of times I have had to relocate as I am a south upper sc holder but I dont threaten to not go,I just move.

-- Thu Sep 01, 2011 8:34 pm --

Sorry to shout mate but read this....

IT IS YOUR SEAT FOR THE LEAGUE GAMES ONLY!!!!!

It is fuck all to do with loyalty points. It's to do with trying to guarentee your seat for cup games at home which is why they have introduced a cup scheme! Obviously depending where you sit you may still have to relocate but you still get first dibs on all avialable seats which members have not joined cup schemes. Fuck me mate-It aint rocket science

Totally agree Freestyler.

St Helen's Blue, you say it's an incentive -but for what??I don't need an incentive, I always go!

I just could not afford to let the club take unknown sums of money from my account at unknown times, because of this they give my seat away! A season ticket holder of 25 years and I cannot sit with my old man cos he's on the scheme.
