Apologies if this should be in one of the other threads, however for peace of mind I really need to know the answers without having to wade through pages of posts.

How long exactly over the 45 mins in the first half was play allowed to continue, how long did the fourth official indicate?

When exactly did the 'Linesmans' flag go up to disallow the goal ?

How many contentious throw-in decisions went against us?

Why did this same linesman not flag for a obvious foul which the referee blew for? (not the last minute Ballo incident)

Has this linesman been involved in any previous games and shown the same level of incompetence?

Serious answers please to enable me to sleep easily !

I can't answer all of those questions but the linesman's flag went up as soon as the ball was passed to Kolarov. I know this as I wasn't even interested in what happened when the ball entered the box.

Interestingly I have seen lots of people who seem to think the linesman couldn't have blown for offside because how the hell was he supposed to see.

My view is different. I think he would have been able to see very clearly that Kolorov and Dzeko were level, and that Kolorov cannot therefore have been offside.

The offside rule says that to be offside as player has to be nearer to the goal line than both THE BALL and the 2nd last opponent.

He cannot be offside if he is level with Dzeko when Dzeko passes the ball.

A load of cretins on sad cafe seem to think he was offside because he was past Ajax's defender, which clearly he was, but this is irrelevant.

it went up very sharply almost before Edin had received the ball.

it was a poor refereeing performance but to the next game we go!

The only question I can answer is that the fourth official did not indicate ANY added on time at all. The clock on the scoreboard went to zero and within seconds the whistle for half time blew!!

I know because I have a running 'joke' with our steward guessing how much added time and I had said one minute and he said two so as soon as the scoreboard said zero we both looked over and lo an behold they were coming off the pitch!!

Three goals scored, at least 30 seconds celebration for each...... YCMIU

That made me wonder! He was much better placed than the idiot ref! Yer know, the more we analyse this the more I'm thinking these five officials have season tickets in the Stretford End!!!

The offside decision was shite as was the one for the penalty. West Ham shouldhave had a goal but got ruled out for a shit offside decision. These things happen

We weren't good enough. Simple as that!

Also he didn't have a whistle to blow for offside.
