Queues

.
If they knew 50k were descending on it for the first time in 18 months and routes around it were now closed then yes. It’s called customer service something our club seems to have forgotten all about
Ffs, Manchester Road works, City's fault!

I had a walk round most of the ground before the game and everything seemed calm and under control, contrary to my worst fears.

Got to K and was in very quickly (but I had a paper ticket as I knew that worked!) Heard various tales from people around me. Some got in with no issue using NFC, some didn't and needed the barcode and one person near me has 6 season tickets so the steward just let all of them in.

We will be asking the club for feedback of course but it certainly doesn't seem to have been the large scale disaster it could have been, so that's a huge relief.

All the complaints I've had were about the food and beverage service. The catering company appears to have completely underestimated the demand and been woefully underprepared, in terms of both stock and manpower.

A few people ahead of me in the queue at E couldn't get NFC to work so I didn't bother trying, just used the code which worked fine. Biggest problem was the long tailback down AT Way/Hulme Hall Lane all the way from Blue car park to Oldham Rd, the coach ended up dropping us off at the gasometer. I think with no season passes for the car park taking payment on the gate is really slowing things down.

Queue’s for M1 are a joke to be honest. There’s clearly not enough turnstiles to process that volume of people efficiently. It was the same before covid and e-tickets so its unrelated to that. You shouldn't have to queue for 20 mins/half an hour to get in.

Im away on hol so transfered my ticket to my dad who is earths biggest technophobe. He had his ticket, my brothers and my ticket on his phone and all got in no probs at all.
If he can get in with no issues…. Literally anyone can

You should have been atGate P at almost quarter past one when we were in the pouring rain waiting to get undercover. It wasn’t totally calm there! If you read my earlier post you might get some idea!
