Round about when White, Phelan and Curle were knocking about, I remember reading someone said that in training when they timed them over 100 metres, Ian Brightwell pissed on all them.

Not literally, that would have been cheating.

Given his Mam was Ann Packer there's a good chance this is true, all in the genes.

His old fella wasn't a slouch either.

Only drawback with your theory is that David was usually about 5 yards behind Gerry Creaney.

Yeah, maybe Ann has some explaining to do on that one then nudge nudge ;-) ?
That's the beauty of genes, nothing's set in stone (excluding gene manipulation) despite who your parents etc may be.
