Without a doubt, I remember several times watching him thinking he had over ran the ball, next thing,whoooosh, his speed over ten yards was incredible, you had to see it in the flesh to appreciate the speed of him.

I seem to remember an interview where someone asked him who was fastest him or Micah and Ned just laughed and said something along the lines of " Micah thinks it s him but......hahahaha!! and richards is no slouch at all

and wasnt Ned a school boy sprint champ at quite a high level?????
white was very quick as was distin but im going with Ned


clichy is pretty quick as well but he aint as quick as any mentioned above.....

if balo bothered i bet he is as well but he just sort of glides around the pitch a bit like anelka did

i went to the same school as ned and we were both on football team. I remember him on athletics and he was a sprint champ and he was f7ckin rapid. He did cross country running too. he even played with senior level footballers for a while he was that good.

in football matches he was rapid from what i remember but i got to go with:

S Wright-Phillips and Aguero. These two are fast as lightening and nimble. I mean come on, Aguero just accelerates and leaves defenders in the dust! Both faster than ned im afraid.
