I seem to remember Nicky Weaver being a bit quick on his toes at Wembly .

In fairness, the rest of the team had ran their socks off for 120 minutes whilst Nicky stood around not doing much lol

David White is the fastest player of the last 40 years at city imo,it wasnt just the fact that he could run fast lots of player could do that.it was hi powerful burst of pace that would last 30 or 40 yards.thats why gareth Bale reminds me of whitey he has a similar style.

I saw Whitey on his debut for the reserves. Looked all gangly and stood right next to the touchline looking a bit lost. Then someone gave him the ball and he ran for two-thirds of the pitch at such pace me and mate just went wow to each other.
Players are probably faster against the clock these days but I can;t think of any in the 80s and 90s that compared to him.
