Just discovered Bake Off a few weeks ago and got a bit hooked. Was gutted when the lad won it.

When they take the minus offer on The Chase they dont deserve a fucking thing.

But, if they are self aware enough to know they're dim, then they can understand 'getting back' which equals an extra point head start against the chaser, which then would hypothetically help the team, in the end chase, depending of course on their own personal interpretation of the felicific calculous..

Quite liked that Italian game show in the early 90's. Tutti Fruiti I think...no idea what was going on. To be honest I can't remember why I liked it...

Heard that in auditions for quiz shows they tend to pick the people who have an eccentric personality or something unusual about them, the people who are just genuinely knowledgeable don’t get on which lends to the obsession of having a lengthy unnecessary chat with every participant. Nobody watches to hear about what a randomer from London does for a living and how they got into magnet fishing

Personalities, professions and demographics can determine whether you are invited on to a show. Particularly on the BBC.
