You wrote about your father like he was a fighter, so it's hard not to think we knew him some. You loved him, sound dignified and proud of him. No greater honour can be bestowed upon a Father.

Fred Davies 09/05/1941 to 11/05/2009

He leaves behind a wife of 28 years, my brother Peter and me. He died unpainfully in a coma and all his family were there when he passed away. He was a father of great advice, humour and encouragement and a devoted and loyal husband.

I would like to thank all those who will post messages of support and for thier kind and generous words. He was a very opinionated blue but he was even cared for by those around him.

See you at the pearly gates dad, your suffering and pain is over now. May you rest in peace.
