R.I.P Frank Horrocks

My mate Noel Hurley's sister was married to his brother Kenny and he got us both a pair of tickets for the 1976 final against Newcastle off Frank.

Another legend who was here there and everywhere all in the blue cause for years. At least he got to see us rise again and win a trophy.

R.I.P Frank and blow a few into the oppositions and United's net for us from up there!

Went to Frank's funeral today

A good turnout from lots of the faces from the 'old times' and members of the supporters club.

I thought struck me during the service that Frank did so much through the 70s and 80s, with others, that laid the foundations to the steadfast support we had when we hit rocky times. Without all that energy and drive would we have dwindled in the 90s?

Well done Frank! You were always a welcoming and warm face and you understood what support actually meant. Enjoy watching us win with my mum and dad.

Great to see 'Skip'' there, still looking brilliant.
