R.I.P Mrs Onuoha

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Ned, God Bless as we all know how close you were to your mum.

She was an absolutely lovely lady. Always kept bumping into her on away trips either in the UK or abroad. Remember chatting to her at Hamburg. She was watching to all the City fans, but didn't want to get right in the thick of it, just absorb some atmosphere but was always there.

Had a wonderful evening sat next to her at Barnsley for the EB/Streymur game, explaining to her why I had a Streymur top on.

She was always doing her best for her son, following him from the stands. When Nedum suffered a serious shoulder injury, she was in pieces. It wasn't a serious injury after all, but her concern was something I have never seen. So much love for him.

It's no great surprise that he has turned out like he has, a perfect citizen of the world, intelligent and friendly. Just like his mother.

A great loss for the Onouha family, but for the greater community as a whole because she was just a lovely woman.
