R.I.P 'Poznan Gran'

I'll always remember her being interviewed on the OS & being asked how did she feel to see herself on the screen inside the stadium - expecting the usual reply of something like very nice - instead she said she was 'buzzin'

She seemed a lovely lady.

I just hope that members of her family can take some comfort from the sentements expressed in this kind of thread on here and other sites.

Its never easy to lose somebody, but just maybe knowing that so many people are thinking about Mavis at this sad time can remind them of her in a happier time, and the reguard with which she was held.

She is now, and always will be part of this club`s history, and when people start reminising about thing, then the "Poznan Granma" will be up there for sure.
