Dear Bluemooners, i am writing this with a tear in my eye and a rock in my heart.

I have come home from work to find my beloved David Silva has passed away, my little 2.5" shubunkin was floating on the top of my pond. I tried my best to revive him by blowing in his face, and administering CPR with a twig, but alas i couldn't bring the little bugger back. I hadn't known 'Davey Boy' that long but in that short space of time , we had some of the best times a man and animal could ever have together, think Noakes and Shep, think Jacko and Bubbles, then you will have some idea of magic of rushts and Silva.

Silva's death was a complete mystery to me and I can only assume it was down to fatigue, Mario and Micah were always too physical for Silva and i'm certain De Jong tried to smash his back gils in on numerous occasions.

I am still planning the funeral and have decided to ditch the traditional methods of 'the shoe box', and the 'flick it over next doors with a shovel' method with the more civilized 'flushing' technique.

As a mark of respect i will not be having my traditional Friday evening 'fish supper', and am off Scampi for a month. Fellow blues, please find it in you're heart to pray for Silva tonight and please no fish puns, i dont think i could hake it at the moment. CTID.

Are you sure the death isnt suspicious in anyway..i would certainly start looking closer to home seeing the affection youve been giving david..
