RAC Call centre - Stretford

1 of the first call centres I worked in talking 15 years ago, hated it to be honest, managers were jumped up pricks and the atmosphere was very pressured, needless to say I didn't stay long, argument with 1 of the managers about a hospital appointment I had, wouldn't give me the time off so told him shove it, walked out and never looked back. Prob changed since then lol

I worked there as an Agency worker for about 7 months, nearly 10 years ago. As Call Centres go I think there's worse but I would never work in one again. There were a lot of people who had been there quite a long time which I suppose is positive. One good thing for you is that as we're through Winter there'll be a lot less calls. When I was there we experienced a huge snow fall which meant the phones went mental and people were waiting a couple of hours just to get through. Used to have to deal with loads of planks who locked themselves out their cars, put the wrong fuel in, or even just didn't know how to start their cars.

The Gorse Hill boozer was ok though and there were quite a few blues who went in there.
