racist blues

kentblue, corky and others, not telling any porkies, i heard it but couldn't identify who said it otherwise i would have said something to that person, he was to my left a row or two behind, i'm watching game and yes i'm sure others in that vicinity would have heard it as well.

He did tolerate it.

Then just moaned about it on here.
Sometimes it's not easy to confront it at the time. And it's not always worthwile. What's wrong with raising it on a City message board?

If I was sat near that fan, it would have really annoyed me, and I'd have wanted to bring it up with other City fans. You can't just ignore bad news. It jus festers and carries on. In reality it will carry on regardless of this thread, but I'd rather know about it, and I'd rather other City fans know about it. And I hope some City fans who tolerate it understand just how much it offends, and hurts some City fans. I've sat on trains with City fans before where a few drunken City fans have sung about Fenians and Pakis and its just laughed at and accepted. (Last post on this today)

When Given gets called "you Irish bastard" I tell them to shut up. It has happened more than once this season. However I would not start a thread about it.

i was in row DD and a guy in row behind me, didn't know who, but referred to ade as a elephant washer and called him a cheating n****r when subbed, i turned round but couldn't identify who said it, the seats around DD25, sorry fellah whoever you are why do you city, we have been probably one of the most multiracial clubs in country for over 40 years and a fact that i am extremely proud of, by the way did you jump up and cheer when he scored not to mention vieira and tevez ( non english ) or SWP and other blues from dave bennet, roger palmer and numerous other non white or non english blues when they've scored over the years ?
racist blues why do you bother ? save your money go to the pub and shout your bile at a telly and let a sensible blue have the ticket you don't deserve.

lol my uncle:)

yeah i agree though pal people like this are dicks who are racist there is no need for it at all

Hmmmm. Nice username!

All clubs have these sorts, and whilst it's absolutely not acceptable in any way, shape or form there has been great progress on kicking racism out of the game over the last ten years or so. The problem is more a society-wide one, in my opinion. Whatever walk of life you may be in you'll come across the odd clown, but it's not always possible to have 'a quiet word'. I think people need to be reported, but then you run the risk of being accused of 'dobbing in' your own.

What i would say is that i've always viewed our support as relatively mixed, and i'm sure there'd be a good number of Blues willing to give someone spouting this sort of nonsense a clip, not that that's necessarily the best answer. No true supporter of the club would be using this sort of language, though, look at our side yesterday for instance, made up of players of all colours and nationalities. People who have a problem with that really shouldn't bother going.

i can clear up the mystery some of my mates went and one of them went with a red coz they stopped at his house afterwards and he is probably the most dickheadish of them all

-- Sun Apr 04, 2010 12:59 pm --

i can clear up the mystery some of my mates went and one of them went with a red coz they stopped at his house afterwards and he is probably the most dickheadish of them all

Surely your'e on a wind up mate?

That doesn't sound like a City fan to me. Yes we have our idiots but calling him a cheat when being subbed just doesn't fit

that's why this thread should be deleted, it's utter horseshit.

if someone actually said that they would get their head kicked in by blues.

The above. I dont know why but I suspect the OP has a hidden agenda.

Very naive mate. Take the blue coloured specs off.

A few seasons ago (last one under Pearce) I went to Boro on the train. It was St Patrick's Day if anyone remembers.

Coming back it was mainly City fans on the train at first and four men were sat at the end of the carriage. I suspect they were ex-squaddies, in their 30's or a bit older and they started singing Munich songs. They were told to shut up by most of the other City fans and were abusive and threatening. They then started singing anti-Irish songs (No surrender etc.) and making anti-Irish comments.

At Leeds, an Irish guy, who was well oiled, was walking through the train wishing everyone a happy St Patrick's day. Completely harmless and evertyone had a laugh. He went to the end of the carriage where these cretins were sat and they tried to attack him. He went away and they followed him and did attack him.

The police met the train at Piccadilly and took them away. These were blues who were were clearly racist cretins. We have them sadly.

Some of you must live in a dream world, are you seriously saying City have no racist fans at all? I've certainly come across a few at various away games, more so in the last season or two. I've challenged isolated individuals about it on a couple of occasions, most recently at Everton. Sadly most blues prefer the "quiet life" and ignore these incidents rather than confronting the problem.

Yeah sadly I know PB but they are a very small and sad minority these days in my experience. I did use the words self-respecting and clearly these idiots are not. I'd rather we dealt with it using good old fashioned peer pressure but failing that I'd have no qualms in shopping these cretins and getting them ejected and/or arrested as circumstances dictate and would encourage others to do the same. There is no place for this generally in society today and at MCFC in particular.

I sit in the family stand and at the wigan game when Ade missed a chance at nil nil a gob shite bloke behind me called him a usless fooking black bastard ,now with 2 young children should i confront him ,dont think so but if i ever see him on my own i will shove his scarf right up his arse .
