I quite like Alan Davies, loved him in Bob & Rose, and I can see why he would hate us.
I don't know, I'm just not that bothered by this. His choice of words with the whole "desert" thing is unfortunate but it's not like I'm blind to the reasons he has to hate City. All I can say is that I'll continue to enjoy both him on QI and Pep Guardiola's oil-soaked desert-blue army being a winning machine up and down the land of England.

File a complaint to the BBC then.
Telling people who already spend most of their time living in a city in a desert to go back and invest in a league in "the desert" isn't racism to me. If they weren't from the desert it would be a different matter, but they aren't so it isn't.
His rant was entitled, bitter, hypocritical and out of touch, but it wasn't racist.

That’s mainly a matter of public order not racism, you wouldn't be able to record loud three way conversations for a podcast on there either.
They could have the same conversation in a corner of Wetherspoons and as long as they weren't too loud it wouldn't get any response.
