I'll be honest mate, I love dogs (well not all) but I really didn't know I cared so much about animals. In everyday life we just assume animals are killed for us humanely , spending quite a bit of time in an abattoir was shocking to me, 10 X worse than a blood filled horror movie. I felt so bad eating meat after that. I just couldn't stomach it. The animals coming in I'm sure can sense what is happening they look so frightened and distraught.
Stunning seems to be the only "kind" bit about it but millions of the poor buggers are not even stunned.
I want nothing to do with that.

How about hunting a wild animal with a rifle ?
