Never. They need to strengthen their abysmal midfield first, they're alright for strikers. Unless someone goes for Rooney (Can't see many interested/willing to stump up the wages), it's a non-story.

Re: Falcao

Manchester United has every chance of being the team that Radamel Falcao joins for next season. Despite speculation in recent months linking him with Chelsea and even with Real Madrid, the fact is that the Old Trafford club is the best placed to sign the Colombian forward. Sources close to both parties suggest that a down payment may have already been made as a guarantee for a future transfer.

This sequence of events is nothing new. The same thing happened two seasons ago, when David de Gea left the Vicente Calderón to become a Red Devil. The deal between the clubs had been finalised months before, no matter how much the general public and the keeper himself said otherwise. In fact, Atlético had already pocketed a large part of the total fee paid by United. In this case however, the sums in question are going to be much bigger. De Gea left for about €20m, whilst Falcao could set United back over €50m.

One of the matters still to resolve is that of the last instalment of the €40m agreed at the time and still owed by Atlético to Porto. However, in no case will Falcao’s €60m buy-out clause – inserted into the contract tying him to the club until 2016 – be paid.

Re: Falcao

I guess he will be another fine addition from their youth academy, eh?

Personally I don't see it happening,and I hope he doesn't go there.

they know we will go for him, so a way to increase his price.

I think our chances of signing him are high.

I would not rule United out you know.

I have a feeling Rooney will be off in the Summer leaving a 20-30 goal a season striker needed at the scum.

They have him. RVP.

They will only sell Rooney to bring in Ronaldo or Bale imo.

I think their money is going on replacing Hargreaves (now that Fletcher looks fucked), Scholes and Giggs. Their defence needs work too.

Ferguson has needed a CM for a few years now and has refused to do so, instead concentrating on strikers.

If Rooney does leave, then it wouldn't surprise me to see them go for Falcao. Bale is a 100% non starter and Ronaldo is only a possibility at most.

A strike force of RVP & Falcao sounds frightening and they have Kagawa to try and fill the boots of Rooney should he be off.

They bought Tevez the year after they won the title. They bought Berbatov the year after they won the title. It wouldn't be surprising to see him do the same this season.

Them buying falcao would be laughable I'd encourage it if he wants to go there.. It would be such a waste for them their midfield needs strengthening first and foremost if they wanna buy another striker go the fuck ahead. Even if Rooney leaves and that's not a very big if they still shouldn't buy him. Besides every followup I've read to that marca article says its bullshit, if us or chelsea truly want him he's gonna go to one of us two as we can offer more money and Chelsea can offer more of a starting role

imo they got one final big push out of ferdinand, vidic, evera, giggs ,scholes, carick, rooney ,van persie ,nani, and young are shit, thats a lot of rebuilding, well we can live in hope.
