At the moment he's anybodies!

The latest quotes (today) have him saying he is on the verge of signing a new deal with Porto, which both increases his release clause a few million, whilst also permitting him to leave to "certain clubs". He also mentions he likes Spain as well as the Premier League.

This all means either:

a) he's been advised by his Dad to play the game and increase his value
b) he's been advised by either his Dad or Porto to force the real players to show their hand (i.e. make Chelsea and Real to raise their bids)

One last point; City have not been linked with him.

This in my opinion is suspicious!

your right, we should sign him as tevez replacement but watching copa america i just thought he was capable of playing a sanchez role.

I think he can come in from the left wing as well - not so sure about the right. AVB used him as a CF in Porto because he was the best finisher they had out of the front 3. His finishing last season especially was incredible, but people seem to underrate his other contributions which make him a much more complete player than say Hernandez.

He also has a cool name, reason enough to sign anybody if you ask me.

One of the best or even 'the' best finisher around last season. Especially with his head. Whether he'll keep that up or whether he's just going through a purple patch remains to be seen.

Looks like another Dzeko from YouTube clips; good at heading, poacher and right place at the right time. I'd rather keep Dzeko and not spend £25m+ on this guy.

Having said that, I've never watched him outside of YouTube so can't really judge.
