Not really, Keegan was properly irate, Rafa's playing it well cool.
 
The best thing about this is that because it came from the manager of a Big 4 team, it will be all over the papers tomorrow and will spark a proper debate of which there can only be one conclusion amongst fans (at least those with half a brain), of course that conclusion is that Benitez is bang on the ball with his comments. Any other manager making the comments made by whiskeynose (which to me were tantamount to suggesting the fixtures have been bent against the rags) would of had the book thrown at them. Quelle suprise, he got away with it.
 
what rafa did was tell the truth.

it had nothing to do with mind games, it was just a rival manager having the bollox to stand up to the corruption that takes place consistently.

good luck to benitez, i think he is the only top 4 manager who hasnt slagged city off with regard to us becoming rich.

If Fergie responds, he's going to look desperate...the best he can do, is "laugh" it off at his next press conference and hope to hell that Liverpool don't win the league...if they do...I imagine Rafa will NEVER get invited upstairs for that famous glass of red at $old Trafford...

No doubt he can expect a mis-conduct charge now.

What gets me about Fergie is after each rant about a ref, he gets another "warning about his future conduct". About time he was brought to book. Shaming by his fellow managers will do for a start though.

Well done Rafa...Fergie IS a twat moaning about away matches after Champs League matches, what he forgot to mention is that one of them away games was away to MANCHESTER City and they played Tuesday and we played on Thursday......Wouldnt it just put the icing on the cake if Hughes stuck the knife in by saying 'You cant blame Mr Ferguson for his comments, because to be fair he is drunk alot of the time'

Not seen it yet but read the transcript. Fantastic. Can't say anymore than anyone else, speaks for all non rags, spot on. Right up in my estimation.
 
Never a fan of the scousers but i hope,seeing as we`re not going to do it, that they win this years league and shut old bacon face up ;)
