Please don't even consider selling Tevez as he is the heart of our team.

To sell him at this stage would be suicide, regardless of players or money offered. We wouldnt be able to replace him with anything like equal quality.

In a world where villa will get £30 million for Milner a distinctly average english prem player Tevez is worth at least double that.

Hope its rubbish I have been waiting for the rumours saying Real want him then we really would be fucked. If we want to be treated like a big club we have to act like one, Arsenal have but a stupidly big price on Fabragas and teams are a baulking. It might not work but worth a try.

The question is not what Teves is worth per se. It's what is he worth TO US. And the answer is a LOT more than £35m, for the simple reason that we could not replace him with anything like the same quality for that sort of money.

If we were in the CL, things might be different, but we aren't and we have to play the cards we have. That means we MUST hold onto to our world class player(s). It would only make it even more difficult to sign better players if stars like Tevez were to leave. Robbinho leaving (as he has effectively done so) probably has done us no favours either, even though he is damaged goods.

And apart from anything else, Tevez probably is worth more than £35m anyway. Is he a worse player than (say) Ronaldo? I am not sure he is.
