We need to look like a club that can keep its star assets. Losing Tevez after the Robinho debacle would only weaken our status and be a further set back to the 'project'. If we keep letting the star turn go, replacing them with another we will just keep treading water.
We should just say piss off Inter you can't afford him - he wants to stay at an emerging club. A show of strengh and an indication to our other targets that we really mean business not just big talk.
