Why on earth would tevez feel undying loyalty to city? Yes he is paid well even for his profession and (often) treated as an idol but that would be the case wherever he plays. There is no unique link between player and club so let's be realistic and admit that very few of our acquisitions will be ctid. All the more reason to grow up a bit about this transfer window soap opera. Watching France today reaffirmed to me that you can accumulate a lot of stars but much more vital is creating a winning system and mentality. Yes Carlos might have the latter but bobby should let no one deflect him from creating the former.
