This is one of the things about City. We idolize players far too much. Kinkladze springs to mind. Robinho when he was playing well. It is born out of a lack of success and lack of decent managers. The player is the star, the team has not been.
That has to change sometime soon. Fergie is the boss at Utd. Great players, no stars, Chelsea the same. At Barca even Messi is considered subordinate to Guardiola.
If Mancini thinks the team is better without Tevez, which I doubt, then he replaces him simple as. We then get another equally good player. And all this talk Tevez is the heart of the club. Get real. He's been here 5 minutes.
