Sabster, are you on a wind up?

You would trade the Italian Daniel Sturridge + 10m for our best player?
Dear me...

Lol at the italian Daniel Sturrdige.

Mark my words in two to three years he will be the best player in the world and we would be foolish not to buy him now.

I dont think you can ague that seeing as Tevez was mostly a substitute for the rags. I agree with you and Sabster that Balotelli has potential but to say hes better than Tevez is a joke, Carlos is our best player by a long way imo and without him we would of finished 7th or 8th.

balotelli has potential to be a very good player but you have to realise potential means nothing if you dont improve as a player and fulfill it.

Balotelli was mainly a sub aswell.

Well that just nullifies the arguement. You asked me to compare them at the same age and they are around par so i dont agree at all that balotelli has more potential than Tevez had. Tevez has proven himself as a top class player and i wouldnt risk swapping him for a young lad with a bad attitude who may not improve.

-- Fri Jun 11, 2010 2:21 pm --

You keep saying that hes going to be the best in the world mate, so why would Inter sell him and dont give me that crap about the fans not liking him, if Moratti thinks he is as good as you then why would he sell?

I wouldn't swap tevez either.

i don't think that this negotation its real, because Inter doesn't want to spend too much for a player, and they need a striker only in case of milito selling and he stay in milan next season...so there is no problem for the carlitos stay

Balotelli has the potential to become one of the Worlds best, whether he fufils that potential is another thing. I see no reason for you guys to sacrifice your best player for somebody who would be a risk.

I wouldn`t swap him for anyone

Tevez is world class player who has proved he is one of the top 3 or 4 strikers in the prem (if not Europe). £10m + a young player who has not even established himself in Italy. No chance.

Van Persie
Villa
Torres
Drogba
Rooney
Eto'o
Ibrahimavic
Di Natale
Milito

Are all better than Tevez

Eto'o - not as good as he was
Di Natale - he's actually a left-sided forward/winger. he's not a striker. Good player but not in the same class as Tevez, hence why he has been playing in the Friuli for so long
Milito - how many good seasons has he had? How many seasons has he played in a league as good as the Prem? With reference to another one of your points, how many 20 goal seasons has he had? I'll tell you, 3 seasons out of 11. And that's for an out-and-out striker
Drogba - when he was Tevez's age he was nowhere near as good as the Argentinian

Bolotelli? Let's see how good he is in a league such as the Prem. He's got the raw materials but he has yet to produce more than a handful of good performances, and I have not witnessed any that can event match a 'decent' Tevez display.

Tevez is not going anywhere why would he Inter are not going to win anything next year with the fat waiter running them.
And we have if we sign a few of the player's we have been linked with the best chance of winnning the league since the late 70s
Is he any good this winning the league since the late 70's?
