City and Milan set for battle for "Little Rafa"

Manchester City and AC Milan are the frontrunners for the signature of Shalke 04 right back Rafinha according to Il Corriere dello Sport. The 23-year-old Brazilian international, who won bronze with his country at the Beijing Olympics is set to leave Germany after a four year spell at Shalke 04.

City and Milan are both in the market for the defensive options, with Mark Hughes snapping up former Arsenal and Barcelona full back Silvinho. Rafinha, which mean "little Rafa" could fetch a fee of £8 million.

I actually think Rafinha would be a very good buy. At 8 million it's a player who is very exciting, is more solid than Richards at the moment and would add extra competition to the right back slot. He's skilful, dynamic and energetic and definitely is a player i thought about before the media printed the article.
8 million, would be a bargain.
