Why is Yaya Touré's reputation so high? I do not understand. His fitness levels are so poor, and he is not a hugely influential figure for City.

Barry has outperformed him this season, even though he has not been excellent either.

He's becoming the new Essien (vastly overrated)

If you read a few threads, on there a small minority have highlighted one thing that many of them don't want to admit and it's the Demolition Derby, they reckon that it destroyed their confidence to some extent I don't disagree, they were always playing well above themselves, and lets be honest as many of them are now beginning to realise their players are nothing special in the grand scheme of things, they had a reputation, they were to be feared, and other teams were frightened of them, if there was humiliation to be dished out, they dished it out! That was until the demolition derby. The fairy tale of the Kings New Clothes springs to mind, they are not invincible! In truth they never have been it's just that many thought they were and that was 70% of a game

The signs aren't great for them (especially with the news about Vidic) but, 6-1 drubbing aside, they've yet to capitulate in the league and could well close the gap on us over the next few weeks. I'll be a lot happier if they start to drop some serious points and we don't. I agree that their squad isn't as great as some make out but Ferguson's biggest asset has always been in making the sum greater than the parts. It will need a sustained run of indifferent results before I'm convinced his ability in that field is beginning to wane.
