Carrick has been in decline for a season or two now, same with Rio.

I'd cry if Spurs bought Carrick back

IMO Carrick has never been in decline.
One of the most over hyped players in the PL and would have been a nobody had he not signed for the Rags.He was only an OK player at Spuds and they snatched Uniteds hand off,for the £17M was it ?

Around that 18m or so. He had one magnificent season with Spurs, we were unlucky not to make fourth in the league.

His game at Highbury sealed his move to United. Luckily we had Carrick at his peak, he had one good season at United then just slowly lost his way

It was good business by Levy but the only downside is we bought a hopeless Zokora with the dosh

He looks like an Abo who has spent two weeks on the piss in Woolamaloo.

Get real lads, if there was a side to be picked between the two clubs then it would be something like this
Jones
Jones Jones Jones Jones
Cleverly Cleverly Cleverly
Cleverly
Rooney Shitarito

(VD ITCH would of course have taken one of the back four positions had he not been injured)

No Welbeck renders this post meaningless! He deserves at least two spots being the next Pele.
