Pretty sure BigBarry was sussed out a long time ago on here as being from the dark side - the username rings a bell somewhere.

As for the parade itself, it was a decent turnout but considering it came the day after they were presented with their 20th league title and a few days after their most successful manager announced his retirement it was only to be expected.

However, what grates with us blues is that this pissing exercise regarding parade numbers started when some United fans sought to have a pop at our turnout for the FA Cup parade in 2011 yet the truth of the matter is that it was well attended. But just 2 weeks later those same United fans were left with a shit load of egg on their faces when for their record-breaking 19th league title parade far fewer turned up than for ours a fortnight earlier - parts of Deansgate weren't even one deep (although MUTV and the Red Cafe armchair contingent laughably tried to claim otherwise). Yet some of them completely airbrushed over that and sought to mock us again for last season's title-winning parade although funnily enough the official figures for that one were pretty much the same as for theirs last night.
