Re: Is Baconface going to be shut up for good?

In an ideal world, the FA would actually grow a pair of bollocks and deal with such nonsense. But then again, they can't even enforce their own rules properly, so I'm not holding any hope out.

You know how all the Scouse players seem to keep getting burgled when they're at an away game....can't these 'organised robbers' do something to Taggart instead? i.e. meet him late one night down a dark entry and give him a 'talking to'....?

He's so well overdue a Karma Kicking by now....something has to happen to him for all the shit he's given people over the years....

I'm not a fan of Fergie but i find it pretty strange how paranoid we've become towards the FA
and yet when someone speaks their mind against them he becomes the Devil incarnated.
What he did was wrong but at least he has the balls to do it and say fuck em.
Over the years we as a club have let the FA walk over us ,wouldn't it be good if Hughes showed just a little bit more attitude towards them.It worked for Mourinho aswell
Tin hat at the ready

What he did was to use his position to publicly blame and bully others to cover for his own failings-as he's done repeatedly for twenty years.
Wiley has admitted he considered retiring after fergusons' outburst.
If that was a day job and a colleague constantly ranted at anyone who disagreed the way ferguson has done during his career he would either get sparked clean out or be up on charge of direct harrassment.

The man is a twat-end of.
I agree he is a twa* but it isn't a normal day job and his ways seemed to have worked for the last 25 years

Re: Is Baconface going to be shut up for good?

Is this fef he slagged off not the same very nice man old baconface had his arm around in the 974th min of the derby, the 4th official, he didnt seem to have a problem then did he. Your losing it Rasherhead i wonder why

Re: Is Baconface going to be shut up for good?

I seem to recall that last time Baconface was given a touchline ban, all he did was spend the entire match giving what would be his actions to his assistant via telephone to give in his place. It's hardly a punishment being cut off from contact with the players if you just ring them up to do it anyway and can't get told off for it because you're technically obeying the terms of your ban...

And when we beat the scum 4-0 and there's no MOTD highlights?

wouldn't bother me I'd be in town after the match looking for rags to abuse whilst I celebrate

Re: Is Baconface going to be shut up for good?

I don't mind him criticising officials; and (within reason) I think he should be allowed to – but I think that privilege should apply equally to all managers and not just whiskeynose. All bosses should be able to have their say when they think officials have made mistakes without the fear of "bringing the FA/game into disrepute".

If they step out of line.. fine 'em or ban 'em; if they have a point, where's the harm?

Re: Is Baconface going to be shut up for good?

The odious twat seemed to have a fondness for Wiley towards the end of the derby match as he was clearly seen laughing and joking with him.

It is obvious that if he is getting his own way then everybody and everything is perfectly ok with him - however if things don't go to plan then he has to find someone or something to blame.

He must have been the sort who would take his ball and go home if he wasn't getting his own way. How this man was ever granted a Knighthood is beyond me, it devalues the award.

The FA are one of the most corrupt sporting organisations in existence and if they take any action at all it will be an absolute miracle!

Pretty much sums it up for me tbh

Re: Is Baconface going to be shut up for good?

Managers, like anybody else, should have a view and be able to question refs within reason but there's a time and a place. In this instance Ferguson has come out with utter bollox in public, which calls the integrity and ability of the ref into doubt - his view was defamatory and could prejudice the career of the ref all because Ferguson was pissed off at losing a game.

He plays the game and bullies refs knowing that they think twice about their decisions and it works, more often than not they come down on the Rags side and play to his rules as we've found out to our cost.

The FA will not punish Ferguson to the extent that they should, not just because they have no balls but because they want to protect the top 4 elite. They must do because otherwise you'd have to say they were corrupt. Of course I'm not saying that but otherwise how else would you explain the discrepancies with 'sentencing'.

Manchester United are on the board of the FA, I think there is only one other PL club, how can it be impartial?
How can you give the organisation any respect whatsoever?

Unless Ferguson receives a substantial ban, and not just a couple of games in the stands then I think we can all, once and for all, forget about football being played as a sport, it may as well be a pantomime like wrestling was!
