I don't know why Liam thinks he is an authority on the matter and demands action, when he has been banned three times himself in the past (soon to be four if he doesn't heed the numerous warnings he's had on the matter).
If you think someone is a United WUM, just report it and then we can deal with it.
Accusing anyone with a contrary view of being a rag is getting a bit tiresome. That joke isn't funny anymore.
I was going to 'let it go over my head' then found this thread.
I posted after the match and wrote 'Citeh', the very next reply simply posted 'CITY'. So i straight away edited it(without knowing what the REAL problem was) I then had a reply from someone who has only been a CITD for about a year calling me a rag and telling me to "fuck off rag"!
I then had a private message from a 'MOD' telling me not to use that word!
I had just come from watching the game chanting CITEH 'til my voice went hoarse and tried to write it down as WE would chant it. I have NEVER heard, either at games or in the pubs, fans shouting CITEEEE (City)
Ok, so I've a only been a member here for a short time, so I aint learnt the 'in-crowd' speak yet, but have been a TRUE BLUE since 1971 thru ,good and bad, And to be told to fuck off rag(by a newmooner) did piss me off a bit, BUT, none of the above is the reason I am posting. It is because I have found several posts with the same spelling that i used and didnt get roasted for it! eg:Danamay 'Sneijder' thread page 55
Have re-read that hes been a member for a fews years, so maybe thats it then, I aint earn t my colours yet....

yet i for one find it tedious, boorish and a put down of the mancunian accent (which is ironic) from plastics who try and talk down to us
i'm intelligent enough to let it ride, but football is quite tribalistic and i don't see why someone should be allowed to get away with lambasting a regional accent and especially when it is the home accent of the club we love
so it's quite easy, depending on the veracity of the arguments, to accuse someone who uses disparaging remarks about the club
i have found that i have become more intolerant of this particular word as time as gone on, pathetic as it may be it really gets my goat
